Position SummaryThis recruitment will be used to fill one (1) part‑time (maximum 24 hours per week) Teaching Assistant for the School of Entrepreneurship, Management, and Logistics at Oregon State University (OSU). Assist the Instructor for two courses during the Sprint term (Mar 30th to Jun 12th). Responsibilities include facilitating class activities, providing student support, and grading homework and assignments. Maintain open communication with students and the instructor to address queries, clarify concepts, and enhance the student learning experience.
Pay rate for this position is $16.05 per hour.

Position DutiesAssist with grading assignments and exams, support students in utilizing software (such as Visio), create quiz questions. Ensure accurate and timely evaluation of student work and maintain the quality and relevance of assessment materials.
Eligibility and Qualifications- Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study.
- Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment.
- Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard:
- High School student:
Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home‑schooling program. - Undergraduate and post‑baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term.
- Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term*.
- Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term.
- Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term*.
- High School student:
- * International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified above and still be considered “full‑time” by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). A reduced course load is approved by the Office of International Services (OIS) and must be provided to the Student Employment Center.
Required Qualifications
Offer in‑person guidance on the use of Visio software. Responsibilities include grading homework and assignments, updating class material, and ensuring a positive learning environment.
Preferred (Special) QualificationsOpen to learn new software (i.e. Visio) if needed and excel.
Working Conditions / Work ScheduleProvide 5 hours of support per week, including in-person assistance at Austin Hall for grading assignments and exams.
