Samaritan Health Services, a non-profit integrated healthcare delivery system, is seeking a full-time Inpatient (Partial Day Program) Psychiatrist to join our team in Corvallis, OR.

Our award-winning health system provides exceptional primary care and a range of specialty services throughout the mid-Willamette Valley and Central Oregon coast. The network serves approximately 300,000 residents in Linn, Benton, Lincoln and portions of Polk and Marion counties. Job Specifics

  • Join a well-established, full spectrum mental health program, with a multi-disciplinary staff including physicians, nurses, LCSWs, and patient care coordinators.
  • Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
  • Partial hospitalization program – patient intakes and crisis checks with a max census of 8 patients.
  • Typical diagnoses include schizophrenia, schizoaffective, bipolar, and depression.
  • Serve as an attending psychiatrist, with oversight of psychiatry residents and medical students.
  • Collaborate with two other psychiatrists (3 physicians total) in oversight of inpatient and partial hospitalization programs.
  • Approximately 2 nights/month of back-up call to residents.

Job Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
  • Current Oregon Licensure or license eligible
  • BCLS certified
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in Psychiatry
  • Knowledge in working with patients who have chronic health conditions
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
