This recruitment will be used to fill two (2) part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) KBVR-TV Station Manager positions for the Orange Media Network (OMN) at Oregon State University (OSU). The KBVR-TV Station Manager is responsible for supervising all student TV and video content for KBVR, including supervising a team of student producers and volunteers.

In this position, students learn and build vital career-readiness skills in the primary areas below:
Communication, Leadership, Professionalism, Equity & Inclusion
- Supervise a team of TV show producers to create content for You Tube and broadcast. Work with producers to manage a regular You Tube uploading schedule, and ensure all shows are complete prior to upload.
- Originate ideas and collaborate with outside organizations around campus and provide opportunities for students to pitch new shows.
- Post shows to within 24 hours of broadcast/premiere.
- Ensure all content on KBVR-TV (online, and social media) is accurate, fair, engaging, and of high technical and ethical quality prior to broadcast.
- Take lead on originating, coordinating and producing special broadcasts of events, collaborating with campus partners.
- Coordinate with the KBVR TV Marketing Associate about social media posts and interactions
- Seek out new media opportunities and formats, to further KBVR TV’s relevance in today’s media landscape.
- Fully participate in weekly OMN Student Leadership meetings.
- Work to ensure that OMN program content is current, relevant, and consistent with OMN’s mission, vision, and policies.

- Check and respond to Teams for project management
- Meet regularly with OMN adviser to go over feedback and areas for improvement.
- Respond to emails, messages, team chats and phone calls the same day, professionally representing OMN.
- Report monthly to the OMN Advisory Board, providing updates, analysis and insightful information on engagement, staffing, strategies and accolades.
- Hold and post 20 regular office hours each week for Orange Media Network, at least half of these hours should be during regular business hours (8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday). Hours may vary during different stages of the term.
- Follow all OMN policies and procedures and hold all staff and volunteers to them.
- Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study.
- Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment.
- Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard
High School student:
Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home‑schooling program.
Undergraduate and post‑baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term.
Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term*.
