Critical Care Nurse in Cortland, NY

Provide critical care nursing in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) supporting patients with acute and complex health conditions. This contract opportunity located in Cortland, NY, offers a focused assignment in a busy clinical setting where skilled RNs can make a significant impact on patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Administer medications and treatment plans as directed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress and communicate changes to healthcare team.
• Utilize advanced nursing skills to manage ventilators, IV pumps, and other ICU equipment.

Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

• Active RN license with ICU experience required.
• Strong knowledge of critical care nursing principles and protocols.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Comfort working 12-hour night shifts.
