- Provide customers with fast, friendly, accurate and safe service at the checkout. Process Checkout and/or Return transactions and monitor the Self-Checkout area.
- Proactively seek product knowledge to answer questions and identify selling opportunities.
- Follow policies and procedures to minimize shrink.
- Assist in supervision, coaching and training of other Front End Associates; participate in training of new Cashiers; use available tools to coach and develop Cashiers.
- Head Cashier responsibilities include expediting price checks, approving POS transactions and markdowns for mainline registers, Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental.
- Preferred qualification: 1+ years of Cashier experience.
