Exciting Opportunity for Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU & Day Surgery!

• Start Date:
  
  ASAP
• Schedule:
  
  Mondays to Fridays, 8-hour shifts
• Shift Time: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Variable)
• On-Call:
  On-call availability: 3:30 PM – 7:00 AM at least 1 shift per week
• Weekend call: 1 shift per 4 weeks (switched among staff)
• Environment:
  Fast-paced Stage II recovery setting; team-oriented, friendly, and supportive atmosphere
• Patient Care: 80% Pre-Post and 20% PACU. Patient ratio: varies. Majority of patients are outpatients
• Requirements: RN Licensure;
  
  Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, PALS; 2+ years of experience
• Skills:
  
  Proficiency in starting IVs for Same Day Surgery patients; basic admission assessments for SDS patients; familiarity with Type I/Type II diabetic patients and Med Rec; ability to perform clinically sound discharge teaching for ENDO patients; strong team player in fast-paced environments
