Travel OR Nurse – Day Shift

Overview

The Opportunity:

Travel OR Nurse in the Operating Room (OR) setting with provided scrubs. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM. Call requirement:
One weekday per week (3:30 PM – 6:30 AM). No floating.

• Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training.
• Support team in achieving performance targets and goals.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure successful operations.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Adapt to new technologies and procedures in the OR.
• Evaluate and improve patient care processes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Assist in the preparation and sterilization of surgical instruments.
• Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment.
• Educate patients and families about post-operative care.

• Licensure: Active RN license (state-specific or compact, as required)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Experience: Minimum 2 years recent OR experience; must be able to circulate in General Surgery, Robotics, Orthopedics, and some Vascular cases

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as an OR nurse in a hospital setting.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
• Strong understanding of surgical procedures and operating room protocols.
• Excellent communication skills for patient and team interactions.
• Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate patient records.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and surgical procedures.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to a positive team environment.
• Willingness to educate patients and families on post-operative care.
