Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring a current TX or compact RN license and at least one year of recent ICU experience.

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
• Night shift required
• Assignment is 13 weeks in length
• Cares for critically ill adult patients
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Local candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Holiday coverage and weekend shifts may be required based on unit needs
• First time travelers will be considered
• Required attire will follow hospital policy for ICU staff

• Active TX or compact RN license required and must be current prior to start
• Minimum of 1 year recent ICU nursing experience required
• No pending license—must be active at the time of consideration unless otherwise noted
• Must not have gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• No certifications can expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• Candidates cannot have been perm staff at any Community Health Systems (CHS) facility within the past 2 years
