Navarro Pecan Company (Navarro) is searching for an Electronics
Maintenance Tech in Corsicana, TX. The Electronics Maintenance Tech will ensure that the plant equipment is running smoothly, preform PMs, and troubleshooting issues while maintaining a safe, efficient, and compliant operation. This front-line role will involve responding to unplanned events, working independently, and making technical decisions to support the reliable and efficient functioning of the facility.
Navarro is a privately held company and has been in business since 1977. Navarro has been a leading manufacturer of shelled pecans in North America and has recently undergone a major capital expansion to transform our manufacturing process into the most modern, automated operation we are aware of in the pecan industry. Navarro supplies nearly every aspect of the pecan market, but is one of the largest global nut suppliers to the bakery, snack, ice cream, confectionary and cereal industry markets.
Navarro has implemented and maintained SQF Certification for Food Safety and Quality since 2011.
What you'll do:
- Conduct maintenance and preventive maintenance (PM) on automation and production equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot processing-related equipment issues.
- Provide assistance to maintenance and production staff as required.
- Assist, train, direct, and monitor other employees as directed by the Manager.
- Deliver quality work in accordance with reasonable time standards established by management, whether conveyed verbally or in writing.
- Utilize mandated safety equipment, executing duties in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
- Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling as required by operational needs.
- Ensure that assigned areas of responsibility are maintained in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
- Comply with all company-established rules and policies.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as assigned
- Manage high and low voltage systems
- Troubleshoot PLC and VFD
Qualifications:
- Self-starter who is comfortable working independently, effectively manages multiple tasks and achieves results with minimal supervision.

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Analytical, problem solving, and strong technical skills including mechanical, electrical and PLC programming.
- Strong skills in customer service, interpersonal, oral communication, written communications, teamwork, judgment, motivation, planning, organizing, professionalism, quality, quantity, safety, adaptability, attendance, punctuality, dependability, initiative, innovation.
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in the manufacturing facility
- Proven ability to balance and achieve positive outcomes in safety, quality, productivity, cost management, and employee relations.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities and performing effectively under pressure.
- Collaborative team player who actively supports and enhances team dynamics.
- Ability to learn Navarro specific computer programs.
- Must have own tools and be able to use them safely and effectively.
Additional
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior food manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of Food Safety Requirements
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, squat 8 to 12 hours a day
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to wear all necessary safety equipment
- Must be willing to work on manufacturing production floor
- Ability to work overtime and weekends if necessary
- Ability to climb stairs and/or ladders
