Position Summary

Associated Spring US LLC – Corry Division is seeking a motivated and results-driven Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations and support operational excellence initiatives within the division. This role is responsible for managing production activities, supervising manufacturing personnel, and ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality and cost standards.

This individual will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to optimize performance and maintain production flow.

The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with strong technical knowledge, problem‑solving ability, and a demonstrated track record in manufacturing operations.

Core Responsibilities
  • Manage daily production operations within assigned manufacturing areas, ensuring safe and efficient production of parts, components, and assemblies.
  • Lead production teams across multiple shifts or departments to meet established safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
  • Monitor production metrics and performance indicators to ensure schedules and output requirements are achieved.
Operational Planning & Coordination
  • Develop and implement short‑term operational plans to maintain production continuity, including:
    • Shift scheduling
    • Material requisitions
    • Machine loading and utilization
    • Tooling availability
    • Equipment readiness
  • Coordinate with engineering, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to ensure production goals are met.
Equipment & Process Oversight
  • Direct routine equipment maintenance activities and support machine setup operations.
  • Identify and recommend machinery upgrades, process improvements, and equipment repairs to enhance productivity and reliability.
  • Assist operators with troubleshooting, technical problem‑solving, and process optimization.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
  • Ensure compliance with established quality standards, procedures, and manufacturing specifications.
  • Analyze production reports, work orders, and performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, supporting lean manufacturing and operational excellence efforts.
Workforce Development
  • Train new employees on production processes, quality requirements, and safety procedures.
  • Assign and mentor employees through on‑the‑job training and skills development.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Reporting & Administration
  • Monitor production schedules and verify product quality standards are met.
  • Prepare and submit production output reports, metrics, and operational updates.
  • Manage requisition of shop supplies and coordinate with vendors and suppliers when required.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support new product introductions and manufacturing process development.
  • Lead or participate in special projects and improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and technical specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to connect technical requirements to manufacturing and inspection processes.
  • Ability to make timely decisions, prioritize tasks, and execute plans to meet customer and business commitments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
  • Proven experience working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment with measurable results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and statistical tools such as Minitab.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive, aerospace, or related manufacturing industry preferred.
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related technical discipline required.
  • ASQ Certification (CQE or CMQ) preferred.
  • Lead Internal Auditor certification for AS9100 or IATF 16949 preferred.
