Electronics Technician

There are Electrical/Electronic Technician positions in Irvine, shuffled to Corry/Warren Plants from time to time. The successful candidates will work rotating shifts, including 24/7, seven‑day continuous schedules, and overtime (over 40 hours/week) may be mandatory. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

• Performs testing, diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs of electrical/electronics of NC and CNC controls
• PLC software programming
• CADD
• Maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting machine tools, control circuits, and electro/mechanical and hydraulic servo portions of systems
• Maintenance of plant power distribution
• Perform installation, programming and set‑up of Servo, Variable Frequency and Digital AC and DC drive systems
• Performs repairs, adjustments, alignments, and calibration of ENF equipment and systems
• Perform other duties as deemed necessary

• Two‑Year Associate degree in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent in experience of 4‑6 years in NC, CNC, and PLC controls
• Understanding of electrical practices, capabilities and quality requirements
• Basic knowledge of machine tools, including hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems
• Proficient use of oscilloscopes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics
• Strong math skills and problem‑solving ability
• Ability to work well with a team while also working independently
• Detail‑oriented and able to organize and prioritize
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Access and Excel)

Regular attendance as scheduled is an essential function.
