Delivery Specialist

The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. This position will also collect money on C.O.D. deliveries and pick up customer returns. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products safely and efficiently.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete daily inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean and maintained, performing daily inspections before operation.
• Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand‑held devices, and collected monies at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate any customer problems or special needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock the vehicle at the end of business.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned (customer service, sweeping, stocking, merchandising, errands, core returns, stock orders).
• Occasionally assist customers, serve as cashier, or help with merchandising tasks as business dictates.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record meeting the company’s 14/18‑point system.
• Legally required state driver’s license and meeting company driving eligibility requirements.

• Familiarity with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
