Rabalais I&E Constructors seeks an Electrician Apprentice for our Marathon jobsite located in Texas, Tx. The apprentice assists the electrician in installing and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment. Duties include measuring, cutting, and bending wires and conduit; drilling holes for wiring; pulling or pushing wiring through openings; lifting, positioning, and fastening electrical components; performing minor repairs such as replacing fuses, light sockets, bulbs, and switches;

maintaining tools and equipment; disassembling defective electrical equipment; and loading, transporting, and furnishing materials and supplies.

In addition to the hands‑on tasks above, the apprentice must:

• Use personal judgment or measurable standards while working within precise limits or accuracy;
• Perform a variety of duties that may change often, using reason, logic, and rapid arithmetic skills;
• Recognize slight differences in shapes or shading and picture flat objects as 3‑dimensional objects;
• Work easily and skillfully with hands, climb ladders and scaffolds, see well and distinguish colors, reach, handle, and grasp wires, conduit, and tools, bend, crouch, and move in small spaces, and lift and carry objects related to job tasks;
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, drug and alcohol testing, and OSHA 10 certification (preferred but not required).

Requirements include own transportation, English proficiency, minimum age 18, non‑use of illegal drugs or excessive alcohol, valid Texas driver’s license preferred, and possession of a Texas Electrical Apprentice License.
