As one of the nation's largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions is expanding its staff and seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join the FSG - Corpus Christi team.

Journeyman Electrician

Description:

Journeyman electricians are responsible for conducting tests and inspections of electrical systems and equipment, as well as troubleshooting in a variety of work areas. They must always follow strict safety procedures to prevent workplace incidents, and often use tools such as pliers and screwdrivers to disconnect equipment.

• Install and troubleshoot control wiring from drawings.
• Troubleshoot motor and controls.
• Layout and prepare equipment for installation.
• Install feeder wires.
• Perform other duties assigned by the manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• MUST have Current State Journeyman Electricians License
• MUST be able to pass a background screen
• Valid drivers license
• Ability to multitask while staying organized
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Positive customer service skills
• Experience in lighting a plus!
