General Job Description

The HVAC Apprentice assists licensed HVAC Technicians and Installers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This entry‑level role is perfect for individuals seeking hands‑on experience and training in residential HVAC systems. No prior experience is required—we provide full training.

• Help the crew or leadman with daily tasks across various job sites.
• Assist with installing HVAC ductwork, systems, and components under the supervision of a licensed technician.
• Transport tools and materials to and from job sites; load, unload, and prepare work areas.
• Clean, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems and job sites to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Measure, cut, and assemble ductwork using hand and power tools.
• Learn and follow all safety procedures, building codes, and company policies.
• Ensure proper use, maintenance, and storage of tools.
• Communicate effectively with crew leads and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks.

• High school diploma or GED.
• No prior HVAC or construction experience necessary—we will train you.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn a skilled trade.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight or elevated spaces.
• No license required; we will help you apply for an apprentice license if hired.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
• Work may include attics, crawl spaces, and confined or dusty areas.
• Noise level can be moderate to loud; PPE (personal protective equipment) is required.
