** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgment to address issues as they arise.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible security-related presence.

+ Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or any unusual circumstances according to company and client protocols.

+ Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel when required, providing information and assistance as needed.

+ Utilize communication devices and/or surveillance equipment as part of daily duties to help to deter incidents and support incident response.

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license as required by local or state regulations.

+ Possess a Level III armed certification if required in the state of Texas.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
