Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Professional – Unarmed to perform foot and/or vehicle patrols in a hospital environment. Duties include controlling access and egress, monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, composing reports, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring safety. Because of the safety-sensitive nature of this role, candidates must submit to drug screening to the extent permissible by law; a tuberculosis (TB) test and certain vaccinations may also be required.

Job Details:
- Minimum 2 years of security experience
- Open availability for all shifts
- Full‑time positions available
- Pay rate $16.45 per hour
- Minimum age 21 with an active driver’s license (driver’s license required only for driving positions)
- Location:
Corpus Christi, Texas
- Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazards, and unusual activity
- Patrol on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to check for unsafe conditions, blocked entryways, security violations, mechanical problems, and unauthorized individuals
- Orally and physically de‑escalate individuals as needed
- Inspect all security devices and fire control equipment
- Screen members, visitors, and client employees to expedite admission to the facility
- Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, or inclement weather with calm urgency
- Provide patient escort, patient watch, safety escort, and assist or transport deceased to the morgue as required
- Prior work experience dealing with customers, troubleshooting, and/or managing stressful situations
- Minimum age 21 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
- High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Background investigations will be conducted in a manner consistent with applicable laws, considering applicants with criminal histories where permissible
- Subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment
- Must complete training requirements and obtain Management of Aggressive Behavior certification after offer
