Promotes coffee consumption by educating customers; sells coffee; conducts coffee grinding and operates brewing equipment, accessories, and supplies; prepares and serves a variety of coffee drinks, along with premade food items.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum three (3) months related experience.
• Valid Food Handler Certificate required.

• Track record of delivering exceptional customer experience.
• Approaches others in a tactful manner; reacts well under pressure; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; accepts responsibility for own actions; follows through on commitments.
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or special events.
• Meet operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients.
• Ability to perform many different tasks within the location during each shift.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication skills.

• One (1) or more years of related experience.
• Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Certification.
