About the Position
Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Telemetry – Texas

Schedule:
Day or Night Shift available; weekends as needed; no on-call required
Highlights:
22-bed Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit with experienced nursing team
Patient ratio maximum 6:1, allowing for quality patient care
Care for post-cardiac procedure patients including PCI and CABG
Meditech EMR system; standard nursing equipment and technology
Floating to other med/surg/tele units as needed
Royal blue scrubs uniform
Requirements:
Active RN license
Minimum 1+ year acute medical/surgical/telemetry experience within the last year
Ability to manage 4–6 patients simultaneously
Proficiency in IV insertions, urinary catheter care, central line maintenance, medication administration, continuous bladder irrigation, NGT insertion/maintenance, and EKG interpretation
Strong documentation skills in electronic health record systems
2+ years telemetry experience with post-cardiac surgery patients preferred
