Description:
The unit has 22 beds and is staffed with 30 members.
Patient ratios are a maximum of 6:1.
Standard electronic medical record system is used.
Candidates will be selected based on their experience in acute med/surg/telemetry.
In addition to standard nursing skills, candidates should be capable of performing IV insertions, urinary catheter insertions and maintenance, central line maintenance, and medication administration.
Effective communication with all members of the care team and accurate documentation in the electronic health record are essential.
Candidates should be prepared to perform Continuous Bladder Irrigation, NGT insertion and maintenance, and EKG interpretation.
Individuals with a friendly, positive, patient-centered, and team-focused personality will be the best fit for this role.
No on-call shifts required, with weekends as needed.
Candidates should wear royal blue scrubs as part of the dress code.
