$36.43 – $51.00/hour (based on experience)

Job Description OverviewA leading hospital in the Texas Gulf Coast region is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Nurse Manager to oversee operations in a busy, high-acuity maternity unit. This role is ideal for a clinical leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily operations of a 19-bed Labor unit
, 5-bed OBED
, and 3 surgical suites - Provide leadership for up to 80 FTEs
, ensuring safety, quality, and performance excellence - Support postpartum and antepartum departments during on-call rotation
- Work closely with the Director to implement quality and process improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Monitor clinical outcomes and operational performance to drive improvements
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care L&D leadership experience
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or RN Diploma
- Active Texas RN license or compact license with Texas endorsement within 60 days
- Current BLS (AHA)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
