Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery RN Manager to join our leadership team in Corpus Christi, TX
. This full-time day shift role includes an on-call rotation every 3rd week and provides the opportunity to lead a high-acuity, fast-paced L&D unit in a thriving Texas Gulf Coast community.
This is an ideal position for a clinical leader passionate about maternal health, team development, and delivering safe, compassionate, evidence-based care.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily operations for a 19-bed labor unit
, 5-bed OBED
, and 3 surgical suites
Oversee and support a team of up to 80 FTEs
, focusing on quality outcomes and staff engagement
Provide on-call leadership support to postpartum and antepartum units every 3rd week
Partner with the Director to drive quality improvement and ensure regulatory compliance
Monitor and manage unit performance, staffing, patient flow, and care delivery
Serve as a role model for evidence-based clinical practice and professional growth
Qualifications1+ year of recent leadership experience in acute care Labor & Delivery (required)
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or RN Diploma (required)
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) (preferred)
Active RN license in Texas or Compact RN license with TX endorsement (within 60 days)
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
