About the Position
Specialty: RN – ED Hold
Experience: 1–2 years of emergency nursing or med/surg experience preferred
License: Active State or Compact RN License
Certifications: BLS – AHA; ACLS preferred
Must-Have: Strong assessment and monitoring skills, ability to manage patients awaiting admission or transfer from the Emergency Department
Description: The ED Hold RN provides care for patients who remain in the emergency department while awaiting inpatient admission or transfer. Responsibilities include ongoing assessments, medication administration, coordinating care with inpatient units, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during the hold period.
