Position Summary: The purpose of this position is to provide assistance to welding instructors.
Minimum Qualifications: Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Knowledgeable in layout, fabrication, basic welding, and shop safety.
- Able to operate a track torch and pipe beveling machine.
- Able to set up, troubleshoot and operate welding equipment.
- Know proper lifting techniques and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
