The Operations Manager is responsible for managing, planning, directing, and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the District, including enforcement of policies and planning the use of billable materials and personnel.

• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to safety and quality standards and practices, and legal regulations; alerts others regarding potential hazards.
• Supports and manages billable operations, including scheduling.
• Responds to safety incidents with root cause investigations, near miss tracking, preventative and corrective actions.
• Addresses customer concerns about quality, resolves issues, and logs Non-Conformance Reports as needed.
• Vets and approves vendors, acts as liaison between customer, vendors, and internal groups to resolve conflicts.
• Reviews customer work records for thorough documentation, purchase orders, and clear costing.
• Coordinates material and equipment purchases to meet customer requirements.
• Manages technician activities, including evaluations, coaching, and training.
• Monitors technician training and evaluates field performance.
• Optimizes crew mix for profitability and manages technician utilization.
• Manages district fleet, fuel expenditures, and inventory, including orders and cycle counts.
• Prepares customer quotations and prices completed work packages.
• Oversees purchasing activities and vendor relations.

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of industry-related experience; management experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX) is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Travel up to 50% required.

Position located at the district office, in a semi-private office setting. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with some flexibility.
