Adjunct - Paralegal Studies Pool

Position Overview

Adjunct – Paralegal Studies Pool, Del Mar College – Corporate Services, Business Administration, adjunct faculty position.

• Teach assigned courses in face‑to‑face, online, or dual‑credit formats.
• Prepare and deliver lesson plans on course objectives.
• Provide feedback on assessments covering course objectives.
• Maintain course records including grade books, Census reports, and submissions for transcripts.
• Continuously improve the quality of instruction using a variety of teaching methods.
• Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.

• Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or Legal Assisting plus three (3) years of full‑time experience as a practicing paralegal or a Juris Doctorate; or
• Five (5) or more years of documented work experience in Paralegal Studies or Legal Assisting or Law Office Management, including legal investigations or related support work.

• Excellent written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Any additional related experience.
