Director of Machine Learning

A company is looking for a Director of Machine Learning to lead their machine learning strategy and computer vision organization.

Key Responsibilities Define and own the ML strategy and technical roadmap aligned with product and business objectives Lead and grow the Machine Learning and FPT teams, fostering a culture of rigor and production-quality delivery Drive improvements to core computer vision models used across drone and MHE Vision products

Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience building and scaling production ML or computer vision systems 5+ years of experience managing and growing ML engineering teams Deep expertise in computer vision, including object detection, image segmentation, and OCR Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch (or Tensor Flow) with a track record of shipping ML models to production MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, or strong industry experience in lieu of an advanced degree
