The Director collaborates with leaders from the administrative team, management, medical staff, and clinical areas to make key decisions and develop policies related to patient care, recruitment, retention, and education.

• Cultivate a superior clinical identity by implementing evidence‑based practices to advance patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Manage variation in clinical practice to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and cost, ensuring a culture of accountability and transparency.
• Stay abreast of internal and external benchmarks, accreditations, and designations, actively pursuing efforts to achieve them.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with all legal and regulatory standards.
• Ensure equipment maintenance is performed regularly and according to regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Ensure efficient patient throughput and delivery of high quality, patient‑centered care through volume forecasting, patient flow coordination, and admission/discharge planning.
• Develop care coordination policies and procedures to promote improved quality, safety, and efficiency in care, fostering interdisciplinary communication and collaboration within and across departments.
• Direct nursing practice and unit operations, developing policies, procedures, and nursing standards to ensure patient and family needs are assessed, met, and evaluated.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Registered Nurse license required.
• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of management experience.
