Director of Neurointerventional Services
Join Corpus Christi Medical Center as the Director of Neurointerventional Services.
Job SummaryThe Director collaborates with leaders from the administrative team, management, medical staff, and clinical areas to make key decisions and develop policies related to patient care, recruitment, retention, and education.
Responsibilities- Cultivate a superior clinical identity by implementing evidence‑based practices to advance patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Manage variation in clinical practice to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and cost, ensuring a culture of accountability and transparency.
- Stay abreast of internal and external benchmarks, accreditations, and designations, actively pursuing efforts to achieve them.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with all legal and regulatory standards.
- Ensure equipment maintenance is performed regularly and according to regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Ensure efficient patient throughput and delivery of high quality, patient‑centered care through volume forecasting, patient flow coordination, and admission/discharge planning.
- Develop care coordination policies and procedures to promote improved quality, safety, and efficiency in care, fostering interdisciplinary communication and collaboration within and across departments.
- Direct nursing practice and unit operations, developing policies, procedures, and nursing standards to ensure patient and family needs are assessed, met, and evaluated.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Registered Nurse license required.
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s degree preferred. - 3+ years of management experience.
