About the RoleAs a Senior Structural Engineer professional within our Advanced Manufacturing team, you’ll work on a variety of projects related to Data Centers, including new builds, retrofits, colocations, and more. You will perform various aspects of structural engineering assignments, increasing familiarity with design methods and tools, and contribute to capital projects of all sizes. You’ll collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and designers, liaise with internal professionals, coordinate designs with other Jacobs offices domestically and internationally, and grow technically and professionally.

- Perform various analyses
- Create computer models for structures
- Calculate member designs and foundations, material take‑offs for estimating, miscellaneous calculations, assist with schedules, etc.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 8 or more years of professional structural engineering experience
- Registered Professional Engineer, with ability to become registered in additional states
- Knowledge of CAD software (Auto Cad, Revit, Micro Station, S3D)
- Proficiency with structural analysis software (RISA or STAAD)
- Knowledge and application of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, AIST Technical Report 13, and other industry design codes and standards
- Knowledge and application of Building Codes
- Proficiency with MS Office including MS Teams
- Ability to travel 10‑20% to client sites
- Master of Science in Engineering
- Experience with industrial metals projects (casting, rolling operations, or similar heavy industrial projects)
- Leadership experience delivering projects on schedule and budget, meeting quality and client expectations
