CHAIR YOGA INSTRUCTOR POOL

Job Type: Part-Time
· Salary: $25.00 per hour
Demonstrate skill, knowledge, and abilities in teaching yoga. Teach assigned courses at various times and locations. Continuously advance the quality of instruction.
Develop and use teaching methods and materials to assist students with diverse backgrounds. Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and community.
Evaluate students' progress toward course outcomes, maintaining proper grading procedures. Provide students with a written and accessible syllabus, maintaining a positive classroom environment.
Maintain daily attendance rosters, input final grades into WebDMC, and submit hard copies to the Continuing Education Department.
Responsibilities- Plan course instruction based on approved syllabus to meet objectives.
- Use diverse teaching styles and methods to accommodate learning styles.
- Incorporate instructional technologies.
- Maintain attendance rosters and submit final grades.
- Design and deliver yoga classes tailored to participants' fitness levels and safety standards.
- Monitor safety and compliance with health standards.
- Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and community.
- Five (5) years of related work experience.
- Knowledge in yoga instruction.
- Ability to plan course instruction based on approved syllabus.
- Ability to use diverse teaching styles and methods.
- Ability to utilize instructional technology.
- Two (2) years teaching or training experience.
- Experience developing lesson plans and curriculum.
