Responsible for working with individual adult learners face to face and in virtual learning environments. Provide teaching of the high school equivalency (GED) completion in compliance with Texas Adult Education and Literacy Content standards in adult basic education instruction while integrating jobs skills into lesson delivery. Assist adult learners to meet their educational, personal, and professional goals while building strong community in the classroom.

• Bachelor Degree in Education or other related field.
• One (1) year teaching experience in reading, writing, mathematics, and English language acquisition.

• Must be computer proficient.
• Must be compassionate with strong interpersonal skills including communication.
• Ability to facilitate group learning and establish and maintain constructive relationships in the classroom.
• Ability to plan course instruction based on approved syllabus/course outline to ensure course content and objectives are met.

• Two years teaching experience in reading, writing, and mathematics.
