The purpose of this position is to teach a variety of Radio/Television classes during a variety of times.

• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in Radio/Television.

• Ability to utilize a variety of teaching styles and methods.
• Demonstrate various presentation styles used in television (interviews, newscasts, on‑camera skills).
• Demonstrate audio production skills (creation of commercials, PSAs, newscasts, editing news interviews).
• Experience with a variety of equipment (studio cameras, switcher, field camera).
• Use related software (Adobe Audition, Adobe Premiere Pro) to edit projects (PSAs, news packages, short video narratives).
• Available to supervise labs outside of regular classroom time.

• Experience teaching at the secondary or college level.
• Experience with an online learning management system (e.g., Blackboard, Canvas).

• Make continuous efforts to advance the quality of instruction.
• Develop and use a variety of teaching methods and materials to assist students with differing educational and experiential backgrounds in meeting course outcomes.
• Maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.

• Applicants must reside in the state of Texas and be eligible to work in the United States.
