Position Summary: This adjunct position teaches assigned courses across a variety of times and locations to meet institutional needs. Courses may include online, dual‑credit, or early college classes. The instructor maintains professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.
Minimum Qualifications- Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) with at least 1 year of experience.
- Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) with at least 3 years of experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics (acceptable for instructing healthcare statistics course HITT 1355).
- Applicants must reside in Texas and be eligible to work in the United States.
- Make continuous efforts to advance the quality of instruction.
- Develop and use a variety of teaching methods and materials to assist students with differing educational and experiential backgrounds in meeting course outcomes.
- Maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.
Demonstrate skill, knowledge, and abilities in the teaching discipline.
