Job SummaryThe purpose of this position is to receive payments of all types from students, employees and the general public. This is accomplished by providing information, both on the telephone and in person, handling monetary transactions, offering assistance and providing direction. Other duties include processing deposits and preparing reports on daily transactions.
Responsibilities- Receive payments from students, employees and general public.
- Answer the telephone, type correspondence and enter information on students, their payments or refunds, miscellaneous transactions, and maintain records of work performed.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Six (6) months of experience in cashiering.
- Knowledge necessary to understand basic operational, technical, or office processes.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy maintaining records.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with students, faculty, staff, and public.
