Job Description
Summary:
The purpose of this position is to provide assistance to students with technical issues as well as check outs and returns of laptops and calculators.
Minimum Qualifications: Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Good clerical skills to include answering phones, filing, and general data entry.
- Strong customer service background.
- Ability to relate to students from all academic levels.

- Provide assistance to students with computer issues.
- Assist with loaner program helping students check in/out laptops and calculators for academic use.
- Ensure computer lab is clean and in order for students to utilize this support service.
- Contribute to a friendly and productive learning environment.
- Complete updates on all laptops.
- Answer phones and provide information about check out requests.
- Data entry on the TRC Contract for checking out equipment.
