Overview:
The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a Front Desk Supervisor to join the Beach Village and Shore House team. After a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever.

Location:

Coronado Island, just minutes from Downtown San Diego. 28‑acre property with over 750 rooms, cottages, villas, 65,000 sq ft banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets.

Classification:
Full‑Time

Shift: Various – must be available weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Rate: $30 per hour (based on applicable and specialized experience and location).

What will I be doing? The LXR Supervisor provides guidance and leadership as the Front of House Supervisor and ensures consistent quality of customer service is provided to all guests in accordance with Hilton and LXR Standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Assign work and supervise team member performance in all Front Office procedures including guest check‑in/out, lobby traffic flow, luggage assistance, telephone operator services, and determining room rates and availability.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues and complaints in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints.
• Schedule, assign daily work, lead pre‑shift meetings, inform and train team members.
• Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance.
• Monitor lobby/front drive traffic and adjust staffing accordingly.
• Manage room assignments, room changes, and room upgrades for day of and future reservations.
