• Manage all kitchen operations, including quality, administrative, and staffing functions.
• Ensure timely and efficient handling of guest queries.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Support menu creation by incorporating guest feedback.
• Control costs while improving profitability and meeting departmental targets.
• Assist cross‑departmental collaboration and maintain positive working relationships.
• Report maintenance, hygiene, hazard issues, and remain environmentally aware.

• 2–3 years of kitchen leadership experience in a high‑volume hotel banquet operation.
• Prior union management experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and customer focus.
• Valid San Diego County Food Handlers Card is required.

The annual salary range for this role is $69,000 – $73,000 and is based on applicable experience and location.
