Padres Baseball & Softball Camps is hiring teachers and youth mentors to guide campers ages 4–13 at our Coronado summer camp.

Pay:
Up to $23.50/hour (Professional Educator Rate) Schedule:
Monday–Friday | Approximately 8-hour camp days Season:
June 8 – August 14, 2026 Campers:

Padres Baseball & Softball Camps provide a fun, structured environment where young athletes learn baseball and softball fundamentals while building confidence, teamwork, and character.

As a Padres Camps Coach or Camp Educator
, you will guide campers through daily activities focused on baseball and softball skill development.

Camp staff help create a supportive environment where young players can improve their athletic skills while learning teamwork, accountability, and sportsmanship.

Staff work closely with Site Directors and fellow team members to ensure campers have a safe, engaging, and memorable camp experience.

• Lead campers through baseball and softball drills and games
• Teach and reinforce fundamental skills such as throwing, hitting, and fielding
• Maintain a safe and organized camp environment
• Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behavior
• Provide encouragement and feedback during drills and gameplay
• Recognize teachable moments to help campers grow both athletically and personally
• Work collaboratively with fellow camp staff and leadership

• Have experience working with children ages 4–13
• Are comfortable demonstrating baseball or softball fundamentals
• Bring enthusiasm, leadership, and positive energy
• Able to make a 3–5 week commitment
• Have reliable transportation to travel to their assigned camp location
• All hires must pass a background screening

Professional Educator: $23.50/hour (Requires at least one school year of paid teaching experience or proof of teaching certification)
