Micromarket Route Driver

Job Summary

The Route Driver drives a company vehicle over an established route to deliver products or render services and maintains micro market and related equipment. The Route Driver is the face of the company and must project a professional and positive image of Canteen while maintaining excellent client and customer relationships. This position offers advancement opportunities into entry‑level management.

• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for the micro market.
• Provide customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Display a clear understanding of company policies and administer as needed.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of micro market and related equipment.
• Conduct minor service and adjustments on markets; report defective equipment to maintenance.
• Ensure the truck is properly loaded with all required product before each route.
• Inform regular clients of new products or services and resolve complaints.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or distribute promotion materials.
• Accountable for receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash, and product.
• Conduct inventory reconciliation per district procedures.
• Keep company vehicle clean and organized; perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections.
• Perform all duties safely and professionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 3 years of driving experience required.
• Preferred 1‑2 years in customer service or related experience.
• Valid non‑CDL Class C driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. consistently.
• Willingness to learn material‑handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.).
• Work independently; responsible for route and unsupervised work 98% of the day.

Full time:
Wednesday through Saturday, 4:30 am to 3:00 pm.

Fixed Pay Rate: $25.85 per hour. Internal employee referral bonus available. Commission eligibility may apply to all Canteen driving roles.
