Skills:

• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.

Essential Functions /

Skills:

• Quick and accurate math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Excellent verbal, written, and telephone skills for order processing.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid, accurate movements.
• Proficiency in entering orders via computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Strong navigation skills for locating addresses within the delivery area.
• Capability to navigate adverse terrain, multi‑story buildings, and private homes while carrying product.

Work

Conditions:

• Exposure to varying and adverse weather during outside tasks.
• In‑store temperatures range between 36°F and 90°F+.
• Sudden temperature changes may occur.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and fumes.
• Work in cramped quarters, such as walk‑in coolers.
• Handling hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F or higher.
• Contact with sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
• Outdoor delivery in varying weather conditions.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing:
  Most tasks performed standing; surfaces include ceramic tile, linoleum, and food processing areas (height 36" – 48").
• Walking:
  For short distances and durations. Delivery personnel travel between store, vehicle, and customer locations.
• Sitting:
  Paperwork performed at a desk or table.
• Lifting:
  Bulk product deliveries up to 50 lbs, 3' x 1.5' dimensions, unloaded via hand truck.
• Carrying:
  Large cans, 3½ lbs; pizza sauce 30 lbs, trays of dough 12 lbs each. bitterness, existing events can be kept
• Pushing:
  Trays on dollies require up to 7.5 lbs of force; trays may also be pulled.
• Climbing:
  Occasionally navigate stairs or ladders; delivery may require five or more flights.
• Stooping/Bending:
  Occurs during pizza assembly; forward bending 30–45 seconds at a time, repeated.
• Crouching/Squatting:
  Occasional when stocking azure or cleaning.
• Reaching:
  Continuous reaching (up, down, forward). Above 72" at times; downwards to scoop cornmeal, wash dishes.
