Job Description

Pay Range: $19.53 - $21.73 / hour

The Kids Club Supervisor leads their team in creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment for our little Chuzers and their families. You’ll welcome and provide excellent customer service to members and guardians, oversee fun and safe activities with children, and ensure our space sparkles with cleanliness. You can build the best Kids Club team possible by collaborating with the General Manager to recruit, coach, and draft performance reviews.

Your top priority will be the safety of the children in our care while spreading joy in our club!

Responsibilities
  • Create an inspiring environment and set the example in welcoming, greeting, and interacting with all members, prospective members, and their children
  • Engage with children consistently through activities while prioritizing safety in the Kids Club and administering first aid to children as needed
  • Onboard and train all new kids club employees
  • Maintain knowledge of front desk operations, including membership tours, billing and pricing, point-of-sale transactions, disputes, and answering phones
  • Create detailed incident reports for little Chuzers as needed
  • Intervene with escalated member/guardian incidents, such as child concerns and billing issues
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to provide coaching, performance reviews, and recruit team members
  • Complete administrative tasks such as scheduling, drafting and running reports, record keeping, and inventory ordering
  • Run daily shift operations such as breaking employees for lunches, delegating and following up on cleaning duties, and completing opening and closing responsibilities

Physical Requirements
  • Able to read, write, and speak clearly in English
  • Walking and climbing stairs
  • Bending, kneeling, and repetitive arm movement

  • Ability to lift at least 50lbs

Qualifications Experience Required

1 year:
Customer Service experience

Ability to lead and work alongside a great team

Ability to establish and foster a positive rapport with children

Teamwork-based mentality with the capacity to deliver and receive feedback

Ability to multi-task and handle shifting priorities with attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work varied hours, weekends, and opening/closing shifts regularly or as needed

Preferred

Previous experience or interest in the fitness industry

Bachelor’s degree or current continued education in early childhood education

High school graduate or GED
