Member Assist Cart Attendant

Base pay range

$17.00/hr - $24.00/hr

Position Summary...We are looking for people who take pride in their work to join our team. You help shape our member’s entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression. In the member assist – cart attendant role, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well-kept parking lot which includes helping members with their purchases, and ensure there are carts ready and available.

You will also assist our members helping them load their vehicles and support creating a great member experience. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go. Rain or shine, sleet or snow, our members count on you.

• Ensure club pick up orders are filled by contacting members to notify when pickup time is delayed; inform members when products are unavailable and offer alternatives; ensure items are selected and packaged according to company policies; ensure items are dispensed when members arrive for pickup; resolve member issues and concerns; promote the company s products and services.
• Maintain safety of facility by conducting safety sweeps; follow procedures for handling merchandise; report unsafe situations to facility management.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, processing purchases, assisting with payments according to policies, using cash registers, locating and organizing merchandise, zoning designated areas, and maintaining availability of carts/flatbeds.
• Assist members with transporting items; utilize cart retrieval equipment according to company policies; maintain parking lot cleanliness.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; engage with the Open Door Policy and apply these in business processes.
• Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers and partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; seek opportunities for improvement; adapt to change and feedback.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Premiums may apply in certain circumstances (e.g., schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed).
