Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

Overview

Public Storage is the self‑storage industry leader and we are hiring now. Earn $19.00 Per Hour.

Full‑time schedules flexible between 9:30 am and 6 pm with 5 pm weekend endpoints. Eligibility for full‑time benefits after an average of 20+ hours of work. Benefits include:

Mileage reimbursement provided when traveling between properties or for other work‑related tasks. Property Managers can earn performance‑based bonuses.

• Work independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside the facility.
• Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies.
• Perform daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring spaces are ready to rent.
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of the daily business.
• Help keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required.

• Transport lift/move items weighing up to 35 lb.
• Walk in/around facilities spending up to 50% of time outdoors, including climbing stairs and opening large doors.
• Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds/curb appeal free of debris.

Experience
:
Successful candidates come from a variety of customer service centered sales environments including retail, restaurant, fast food or other service‑based companies.

Transportation
:
Valid driver’s license required. Own vehicle needed to travel between work locations and/or conduct other work‑related business. Mileage reimbursement available.
