Advocates of guest experience welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. You will be involved in in-store and digital services to drive adoption and guest loyalty, at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring quality.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and empower quick, easy shopping experiences
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve issues and improve experiences
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target
• Explain the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently and accurately, in line with safety standards and best practices
• Work to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Explain and demonstrate features of the Target App, including Wallet
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering and guide guests on enrollment and use
• Handle returns following store policies and escalate with leadership as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours
• Uphold a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
• Work safely, comply with all safety policies, report hazards, and take corrective action where possible
• Support guest services such as OPu, Drive-Up orders and returns while ensuring compliance with applicable laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• Accurately handle checkout operations, transactions, and support cash office operations as needed
• Scan, handle and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally without assistance
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance is essential
• Ability to stay mobile for the duration of a shift
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions while performing duties such as Drive-Up and carryout
