LPN​/LVN Subacute- Per Diem Night

Overview

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Subacute position — This is a Per Diem Night Shift position located at Corona Rehabilitation Hospital in Corona, CA.

The LVN/LPN practices under the direction of the professional Registered Nurse (RN). The LVN implements nursing care for assigned patients and assists the RN in the assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of nursing care. This role includes patient care skills, clerical duties, phlebotomy, and other departmental duties as requested, while demonstrating service recovery and service excellence at all times. Follows standard of care as defined within the scope of practice for LVN/LPN and reflects applicable ethical and professional standards.

The LVN/LPN supports the care team by providing direct patient care under RN supervision and fulfilling duties including but not limited to maintenance of patient comfort and safety, basic care tasks, and relevant routine responsibilities as assigned.

• Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the State of California.
• Current BLS (CPR) required through the American Heart Association.
