RN PACU Surgery Part Time

Part Time RN PACU at Corona Regional Medical Center (CRMC), Corona, CA

Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services, the Recovery Room Registered Nurse receives patients from the Operating Room and other ancillary departments. The RN monitors vital signs, makes necessary interventions as prescribed within the scope of nursing, by surgeon or anesthesiologist, assists with transport of patients to outpatient surgery and surgical floors, and helps monitor IV sedation and local cases in the Operating Room.

Competent care is provided for patients throughout the lifespan, from infancy through geriatric.

The RN will perform all recovery area duties as described above, ensuring timely and safe patient care from the point of exit from the operating room to safe transfer to the assigned floor. The RN will also support interdepartmental teamwork to maintain patient safety and quality outcomes.

Minimum essential experience

• One year PACU or critical care experience or basic Coronary Care class with hemodynamic experience required.
• Age specific education and/or experience.

Required licensure / certifications

• Current CA Registered Nurse license required.
• Current BLS (CPR) credential.
