Position: RN PACU SURGERY Per Diem

Registered Nurse (RN) PACU

Per Diem position located at Corona Regional Medical Center (CRMC) in Corona, CA. Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services, the Recovery Room Registered Nurse receives patients from the Operating Room and other ancillary departments. Monitors vital signs, making necessary interventions as prescribed, within scope of nursing, by surgeon or anesthesiologist. May also assist in transport of patients to outpatient Surgery and surgical floors.

Assists with monitoring of IV sedation and local cases in the Operating Room. Able to provide competent care for patients throughout the life span, from infancy through geriatric.

About the Hospital

The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center® began in 1965, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. Since that time the hospital has changed to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community. Corona Community Hospital merged with Circle City Medical Center in 1992 and the resulting entity became Corona Regional Medical Center. Qualifications

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

  • One year Critical Care or PACU experience or basic Coronary Care Class with hemodynamic experience required.
  • Age specific education and/or experience.
Required Licensure / Certifications
  • Current CA Registered Nurse license required.
  • Current BLS (CPR), A.C.L.S and P.A.L.S. Certificate required.
