Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Telemetry III

Full-time, Nights Shift position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA

The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center began in 1965 with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. The merged hospitals form a 238-bed community hospital network comprised of a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus. It is certified by The Joint Commission, employs more than 1,250 trained healthcare workers, and has a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians representing more than 40 specialties.

Reporting to the Director of Medical/Oncology/Surgical and/or designated supervisors and charge nurses, responsibilities include assessments, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and documentation of adult and geriatric patients. Additional accountabilities include counseling and education for patients and families. Overall responsibility is for the nursing care of patients and for maintaining standards of nursing practice and optimal outcomes, including the supervision of all categories of nursing personnel.

Responsibilities also include providing safe, high-quality care in a Med/Surg Telemetry III setting and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

RN Job Requirements:

• Current California R.N. license.
• BLS (CPR) certificate required through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification within 90 days of hire required.
