$27-32/HR Case Dependent

Urgent case located in Corona

Shifts and times available

Monday-Friday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM;
Saturday and Sunday 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Must be experienced working with a G-Tube dependent adult patient

Responsibilities
  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders
  • Observe, assess, and report changes in patient condition to supervisor/physician
  • Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, and care coordination promptly
  • Participate in, implement, and update the nursing care plan
  • Take appropriate nursing action based on assessment to achieve outcomes
  • Recognize changes requiring intervention and apply care to prevent or reduce risk
  • Adhere to Aveanna policies, state and federal regulations, accrediting bodies, and the Nurse Practice Act
  • Provide care using infection control measures per OSHA standards
  • Educate patient and family on disease process, self-care, and prevention strategies
  • Maintain knowledge of nursing competencies through continuing education and evaluations
Qualifications
  • Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered CA LVN license
  • Current CPR certification (hands-on component)
  • TB skin test - 2 step (current within last 12 months)
  • One year of prior hands-on nursing experience
  • Reliable transportation
  • Proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with policies
  • Continuing Education as required by state
State-Specific Requirements
  • South Carolina – One year pediatrics experience
  • California – One year experience required working under current nursing license
  • Louisiana – One year experience required working as a licensed nurse
  • Continuing Education as required by state
Preferences
  • Six months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting
  • Home health experience
