Press Brake Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Press Brake Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with complex bend setups, forming operations, and the ability to read and interpret technical prints. • Set up and operate press brake machines to perform complex forming and bending operations
• Prepare and run intricate bend setups, including use of custom punches, dies, and special tooling
• Perform advanced programming of press brake machines, including angle bends, step bends, back gauge adjustments, delays, etc.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, including understanding geometric tolerances
• Apply thorough knowledge of flat pattern layouts to ensure accurate part fabrication
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with supervisors regarding job status
• Train and support less experienced operators as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including machine surfaces
• Coordinate with the Material Handler to ensure materials are available and properly staged
• Identify and suggest improvements to processes, efficiency, cost savings, and waste reduction

• Minimum 2 years of current or recent experience operating press brakes in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of press brake operations, tools, and safety procedures
• Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and applying geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
• Team‑oriented with strong communication and mentoring skills
• Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
